Blossom Ridge Honey Farms: website hero
The Brief

Blossom Ridge Honey Farms sells honey online. The only asset supplied was the logo, a bee in navy and gold, which we traced into a vector from the client's own artwork and built this concept shop around. Honey varieties, prices and the farm story are placeholders, marked as samples in the build.

The Problem

Honey shops tend to look like every other jar on the shelf. The brand needed a story a visitor would follow, and a shop that actually works (cart, checkout and order enquiries) without a heavy shop platform.

The Approach

Not a task list.
A set of deliberate moves.

Move 01

Blossom to jar

The logo bee guides the visitor through a pinned story: blossom, bee, pollination, hive, honey. One stage per scroll.

The pollination stage: the bee crossing between line-drawn blossoms
Move 02

Built six sides at a time

The hive turns the page gold-on-black, with real honeycomb photography explaining how the honey is made.

Move 03

Our own shop, not a platform

Cart, checkout and order enquiries run on a small purpose-built PHP shop. Prices are checked on the server, so a changed price in the browser can't change what's charged.

What It Delivered

The result, in plain terms.

Logo traced
the client's bee rebuilt as a vector from their own artwork
7 honeys
each with its own bee in the shop (a sample range)
Working shop
cart, checkout and enquiries, with prices enforced on the server
