Faith Line Creation
A story this heavy deserved more than a link-in-bio.
LaTrenna Huey wrote 'My Son's Conviction: A Mother's Life Sentence' after living through her son's addiction and incarceration. Faith Line Creation is her platform — part bookstore, part ministry, part community for parents carrying the same weight. She needed more than a sales page; she needed a home for a growing body of work.
Self-published authors usually get a single page with a buy button — no story, no community, no reason to return. LaTrenna had three more titles coming and a readership that connects with her through faith and shared experience. The platform had to sell the first book while building the audience for every book after it.
Not a task list.
A set of deliberate moves.
A platform, not a product page
Eight pages with distinct jobs: Home, Books, About, Community, Testimonials, Podcast, Blogs, and Contact. The design language — deep forest green, burgundy, and gold with classical serif headlines — carries the weight of the subject matter without turning somber. It reads as a publishing house, not a template.

A shop built for a growing shelf
The bookstore launched with 'My Son's Conviction' and three 'Coming Soon' titles beside it — deliberately. Visitors see an author with a body of work in motion, not a one-book table. Cart and checkout are ready for each new release without another rebuild.

The first chapter is the funnel
The core growth mechanism is generosity: readers exchange an email address for the first chapter, free. That one flow turns casual visitors into a mailing list LaTrenna owns — the channel that will launch her next three books without renting attention from social platforms.

The result, in plain terms.
